APEP shares work from a variety of artists and writers in a wide range of publications. Collaborative zines, like our Critters & Gods series, are designed around a theme and submissions are open. Information about how to submit your work is typically included when each project is announced. We also accept submissions of manuscripts and work for zines featuring a single artist. For more information about what our current collaborative projects are or if you have questions about making a zine or chapbook with us contact us via email or the contact form here.
Stay up to date with our current projects and calls for submission through our Instagram, @apeppublications.
For the most part, we make everything we sell by hand in our studio in Chewsville, Maryland. We use fine art inkjet printers or digital laser printing and make an effort to use post-consumer or recycled paper and materials whenever possible. On occasion we'll send a project to an outside printer for larger print runs. APEP Magazine for example is not printed in house.
